Christmas Carols at Caversham Court Gardens

The choir of St Peter’s church will be leading the singing for an evening of traditional Christmas carols in Caversham Court on Monday 19th December at 7.30pm.

The church bells will ring out from 7.15pm. Mulled wine and mince pies will be on sale in the Tea Kiosk from 6.15pm in aid of local charities.

Baby and Children’s Market back in Caversham on 19th November

Following the success of the first Baby and Children’s Market, the next one will be held on Saturday 19th November from 2:30pm – 4:30pm at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Albert Road, Caversham, RG4 7AW. Yes, another year has passed and Reading Festival returns next weekend.

Given the close proximity of the festival to Caversham, opinion is often divided amongst its residents. The festival does bring with it some trouble and minor inconvenience but it puts money into the local economy and over the last few years better policing has clearly been evident.
